As we eagerly look forward to the 2024 Olympics in Paris, Francophonie Atlanta wanted to honor this global event and chose 3 short films revolving around sports.
OUR SHORT FILMS
SYNOPSIS: Maxime is 16. A promising swimmer, he is about to enter a sport study program. One afternoon, the police interrupts a training session to question his coach, who has been accused of sexual abuse by one of the club’s young swimmers. These accusations will crack the armour of silence that Max has built to survive the abuse he himself suffered years earlier.
SYNOPSIS: The film follows the 60+ senior team of FC Lausanne Sport. Beyond the dimension of football, the film tries to tell their relationship to the body and their passion that push them to continue playing despite their ages.
SYNOPSIS: Through their locker room chats, training sessions, and the balance they find between coquettish touches and muddied knees, three teenage rugby girls question their own prejudices and those of their social circles toward female and male attributes in our society.
